Mashex, the main annual exhibition of Russian engineering sector, will be held on May 29 –June 1 in Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre. Mashex is a Russian leading industrial exhibition. It has been awarded UFI sign for high level of its organization, special significance for country’s economy and development of external economic relations. It also has sign of Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. This year Mashex will be a significant part of Hanover fair analog, Russian national industrial forum with international participation “Industrial technologies for Russia”. It will be held at the territory of Russian Federation and there will take part more than 500 companies from 23 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Israel, India, Spain, Italy, China, Poland, Belarus Republic, Russia, Slovakia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, Japan. The participants will present 950 trade marks in total.

Mashex will include:

• Mashex – the 7^th International specialized exhibition for machine-tool production
• Mashcomp – the 5^th International specialized exhibition for component parts in machine building
• Retechmash – the 5^th International specialized exhibition for modernization, repair and reconditioning of machines and equipment
• Intechmash – the 3^rd International specialized exhibition for manufacturing automation, robotics and information technologies in mechanical engineering
• Metrmash – the 3^rd International specialized exhibition for measuring devices, tools and technologies
• Elecmash – the 3^rd International specialized exhibition for electrical machinery and electronics
• Litexpo - the 3^rd International specialized exhibition for technologies and equipment for foundry production
• Inbetech - the 5^th International specialized exhibition for bearings for all branches of industry;
• Handling and storage equipment – the 5^th International specialized exhibition for handling, weight lifting and elevator equipment

The exhibitions occupy Pavilion 1 (halls 1, 2, 3, 4) and Pavilion 2 (halls 7, 10). Many countries have joint stands; there are presented such international associations as VDW – Association of German Machine-tool manufacturers, AFM – Association of manufacturers of machine-tool equipment, (Spain), Italian association “UCHIMU – production systems”, SST – Association of manufacturers of machine-tool production (Czech Republic), AMT – Association of production technologies (USA), and MTA – Association of production technologies (Great Britain).

Russia is broadly presented by regional companies.

Among the exhibitors there are such organizations as Ryazansky machine-tool plant, Ivanovsky machine building plant, Savelovsky machine building plant, Kirovstankomash, Galika AG, SF Technologies, Weber Comechanics, Dukon, Kami-Stankoagregat, Irlen Engineering, Abamet, Amada, Bistronik, Pride-TWL, Solver, Mitsubishi Hardmetal, Robur, Trumpf, SECO, Sandvik, Fanuc Mitsui, MAN Ferrostaal, Dr. Johannes Heidenhain, Rosmark-Stal and many other companies.

For attendees’ convenience the business programme of the exhibition is divided into topical days: May 30 – International day, May 31 – Day of science, June 1 – Day of business. Conferences, seminars and round work tables will be held according to these days.

On the International day Association of production technologies (USA) will hold conference “Engineering market in USA”. Spanish Association of manufacturers of machine-tool equipment will tell about its activity. British Association of production technologies will hold conference “Advanced engineering technologies of Great Britain for automotive, aerospace and other industrial sectors”.

On the Day of science a number of state universities will hold conferences, dedicated to the latest innovative achievements in metal-working field. Among the organizers there are: Novosibirsk state technical university, Kaliningrad state technical university, Magnitogorsk state technical university named after G.I. Nosov, Kazan state technical university named after A.N. Tupolev, Moscow state metallurgical institute of evening department, Moscow state technical university “Stankin”, Moscow state technical university named after Bauman, Moscow state management institute, Moscow Sate Automobile & Road Technical University, Moscow State Aviation Institute, Moscow State Academy of instrument engineering and informatics, Moscow Sate University named after Lomonosov, Russian State technological university, named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky “MATI”.

Attendees of Mashex-2007 will be able to watch the most up-to-date equipment, produced in the world. Here there will be presented the best models of machine-tool and metal-working sectors. Large-scale expositions of national companies will let them feel comfortable on the one ground with foreign companies.

The Forum will become unprecedented event in industrial field and it will gather together advanced technologies of the world.

The solemn opening ceremony of MASHEX-2007 will be held on May 29 at 12 pm in Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre, Pavilion 1. The press-conference will be held at 11 am, in conference-hall (Pavilion 1, hall 1).

Free shuttle buses will be running from “Planernaya” metro station to “Crocus Expo” exhibition pavilions during working days of the exhibition.
