System of visitors' electronic registration.

In March 2002 a system of electronic registration of visitors and participants in events will be introduced at Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre. At the entrance participants and visitors will receive plastic badges featuring name, company, position and having unique bar code.

Within the exhibition this bar code is used for registration of visitors in seminars' halls and at stands. During the day an exhibitor will scan badges of visitors using a special scanner (without browsing all database). All information will be accumulated in the special data collector in the form of digital codes. After the exhibition an exhibitor could address organizers and get the whole information about visitors: name, company, position, address, e-mail. answers to registration inquiry (field of interests etc.). The database will have MS EXEL format.

Cost of rent of self-contained equipment for registration at stand within the exhibition and of providing database about visitors is 195 US$.

Applications for the equipment are to be submitted non later than 10 days before the exhibition's opening.
