News of the Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre

In 2001 Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre, organizer of the international exhibition “Rosupak” was admitted in the World Packaging Organization at WPO session in Istanbul (Turkey).

The World Packaging Organization unites national packaging institutes, regional packaging federations and other interested parties including individuals, corporations and trade associations.

WPO was founded in September 6, 1968 in Tokyo by leaders of the global packaging community. The purposes of the organization include to encourage the development of packaging technology, science, access and engineering; contribute to the development of international trade and stimulate education and training in packaging; promote education through meetings, special activities, publications, web sites; sponsor an international packaging design awards program and to facilitate contact and exchange among the various national institutes of packaging.
